Rod Gardner played college football at Clemson University. He was one of the ten finalists for the Biletnikoff Award after posting six touchdowns on 51 receptions and 956 yards. Gardner was chosen by the Washington Redskins, in the first-round draft pick of the 2001 NFL Draft. Gardner was selected as NFC Offensive Player of the Week after a 208-yard and one touchdown against Carolina Panthers during his rookie year. The AIS and the IPFL is excited to have Rod Gardner as the League Baron for the Georgia Blackbeards, in Augusta, Georgia Atlantic Territories, Zone B.
The IPFL is inviting all Athletes ages 8 – 9, to tryout for our Lil Kids Division Indie Pro Football, and all Athletes 10 – 11, to tryout for our Big Kids Division Indie Pro Football. We are open to any and all interested players, who can pass a physical and in condition to play. WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE BEST IN THE COUNTRY.
